Reaction Kettle: Product Features and Applications of Electric Heating Reaction Kettles

An electrically heated reactor is a commonly used chemical reaction vessel, primarily designed as a pressure vessel for carrying out processes such as vulcanization, hydrogenation, hydrocarbonization, polymerization, and condensation. Examples include reactors, reaction vessels, synthesis pots, and polymerization reactors.

When selecting an electrically heated reactor, the type of slurry and baffle conditions should be determined based on the stirring purpose and the state of activity. The determination of the state of activity is influenced by the viscosity of the stirring medium. The application conditions are more detailed, encompassing not only the slurry type and mixing purpose but also the range of medium viscosity, stirring speed, and reactor volume. The model selection table is also based on the mixing purpose and the degree of mixing activity. Its advantage lies in defining the applicable ranges for different slurry types according to the specific characteristics of various stirring processes, thus enabling a more precise selection.

The electrically heated reactor features rapid heating, high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, hygiene, no environmental pollution, automatic temperature control without the need for a boiler, and ease of use. It heats the heat-transfer oil in the jacket using electric heating rods, raising its temperature to the required level. This new product has been successfully developed based on the absorption of advanced technologies both domestically and internationally, and is widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemical engineering, food processing, natural flavorings, food additives, and light industry.

Methods for cleaning the reaction vessel:

1. The reaction solvent is introduced into the reactor through the vent valve. After most of the residue has been removed, water is added to the reactor, and stirring is stopped for 10 minutes. At this point, the kettle lid can be opened, and cleaning of the inner wall of the kettle can be halted. During cleaning, both the kettle lid and the sampling valve must be thoroughly cleaned. Meanwhile, while there is still water in the kettle, a small amount of nitrogen gas should be introduced.

2. For reactors that are temporarily not in use, it is best to soak them in 70% pure anhydrous ethanol without tightening the screws.
