How should a microreactor be maintained?
How should a microreactor be maintained? (1) Microreactor installation location: The reactors should be installed in a high-pressure working area that meets explosion-proof requirements. When multiple reactors are installed, they should be placed separately, and a safe, explosion-proof wall should be used to separate each pair of reactors. Each working area must have a passage and an exit leading to the outside. If explosive media are present, adequate ventilation of the equipment must be ensured.

How should a microreactor be maintained?
(1) Location of Microreactor Equipment: The reactors shall be installed in high-pressure workrooms that meet explosion-proof requirements. When multiple reactors are installed, they should be placed separately, with a safety explosion-proof wall used to separate each pair. Each workroom must be equipped with a passage and an exit leading to the outside. If explosive media are present, adequate ventilation of the equipment must be ensured.
(4) The valves, pressure gauges, and safety valves of the microreactor can achieve a sealing effect by tightening the male and female nuts. The arc-shaped sealing surfaces at both ends should remain non-rotating relative to each other. All screw connections must be coated with graphite that is compatible with the lubricant or oil used during assembly to prevent galling. When using the valve: For needle valves, simply gently turning the valve needle will provide excellent sealing performance. Avoid applying excessive force to prevent damage to the sealing surfaces.
(5) After installing the micro-reactor equipment, charge it with a certain amount of nitrogen gas for 30 minutes and check for leaks. If any leaks are detected, use soap bubbles to locate the leak points on pipes and nozzles, release the gas, and tighten the connections. Then, repeat the nitrogen compression test to ensure there are no leaks before proceeding with normal operation.
(6) During cooling, internal cooling can be achieved via the cooling coil. Rapid cooling is strictly prohibited to avoid excessive thermal stress that could cause cracking of the cooling coil and the kettle. During operation, if the temperature inside the unit exceeds 100°C, the water tank between the magnetic mixer and the secondary cover should be cooled with circulating water, ensuring that the water temperature remains no lower than 35°C. (7) Safety device: The positive-orifice metal rupture disc, made of stainless steel in accordance with the national standard GB567-89 “Technical Conditions for Arch-Type Metal Rupture Discs,” must undergo factory testing and shall not be adjusted arbitrarily. In the event of a rupture, the disc must be replaced immediately. The replacement interval shall be determined by the user organization based on its specific operating conditions. For discs that have reached but not yet ruptured the maximum allowable pressure, the replacement should occur before the pressure drops below 80% of the minimum rupture pressure. When replacing the disc, ensure that its convex side faces upward.
