Once the sealing surfaces are damaged, they need to be properly treated and repaired to restore their excellent sealing performance. When tightening the bolts, always follow a diagonal, symmetrical, and gradual approach, applying even pressure throughout the process. Do not allow the lid to tilt to one side in order to ensure a good seal. All threaded connections must be lubricated with oil or an oil-based graphite compound during assembly.
