Use and Maintenance of Laboratory Reactors (Part 1)
After long-term exploration by our manufacturer, we’ve found that if users properly operate and promptly maintain laboratory reactors, they can effectively extend the equipment’s service life. Next, let me walk you through the operating procedures for the control unit. The circuit principles of the control sections in various models of laboratory reactors differ significantly, so their operating procedures should be followed precisely according to the instructions provided in the equipment manuals. The standard operating procedure is as follows: 1. Preparations for power supply: (1) Connect the control unit using power cords and cables, then connect the reactor vessel and its lid, and securely tighten the safety devices to ensure good electrical contact and display functionality. (2) Check the electricity being used...

After long-term exploration by our manufacturer, we’ve found that if users can use the equipment correctly and perform timely maintenance, they’ll achieve optimal results. Laboratory Reactor This can effectively extend the service life of the equipment. Next, let me walk you through the operating procedures for the controller: The circuit principles of the control sections in laboratory reactors of various models differ significantly. Therefore, their operating procedures should be followed strictly according to the instructions provided in the equipment manuals. The standard operating procedure is as follows:
I. Power Supply Preparation Work
1) Connect the controller using power cords and cable wires, properly link the reactor vessel and its lid, and securely tighten the safety devices to ensure good electrical contact and display functionality.
2) Verify that the power supply voltage used meets the equipment’s requirements; the two main voltages are 220V and 380V.
3) Verify that the power supply connected to the monitoring and control instrument has a reliable grounding function.
II. Post-Power-On Inspection: After connecting the power supply, the power indicator light on the controller’s control panel will illuminate, and the temperature display, voltage display, and rotational speed display will all be activated.
3. Preparations Before Work: Set the working temperature and working time on the temperature control panel, as well as the process parameters. The heating current should be set according to the process requirements to ensure that the heating rate meets the reaction demands. The system is equipped with voltage alarms and a cooling water program activation feature. Additionally, ensure that the cooling system operates reliably within the specified range.
4. During Work: If the laboratory reactor control system experiences an electrical leakage during operation, promptly disconnect the power supply and check whether the wiring and power source are properly grounded to prevent electric shock that could damage the control components.
5. Upon completion of work: First, reduce the搅拌 speed to zero, then turn off the temperature control, heating current, voltage, and solenoid valves for cooling water. Next, switch off the main power switch and finally unplug the power cord.
6. Long-term Storage: For controllers that will be stored for an extended period, it is essential to take adequate measures to protect them from moisture and vibration. In areas with relatively humid weather, it is recommended to power on the controller regularly (within 30 days) for at least 30 minutes each time, ensuring that the inside of the controller remains dry and preventing oxidation and cold solder joints in the circuitry, which could otherwise affect performance and reduce the equipment’s lifespan.
